I lived in Asheville, NC as a small child. To Jersey City at about age 9...PS #11. I remember especially Joe Fahey, Rolf Berger, Linda Archer, Jim Januzzi, Sherry Zbar, Linda West, Tomas Hadden, Elaine Diauria, Deirdre Killelea and Bruce Killelea and others. Oh yeah, there was also Dennis Lupinaccio and Bobby Salerno. Special places for me were Liss Drug Store's fountain, movies at the Stanley and Lowe's theaters. I loved Lincoln Park, my "escape". St. Aedan's and Old Bergen were also places of importance to me in those days. Both communities did a lot for the kids, especially Old Bergen. My old parish church in NYC, St Paul's Chapel, was also important on my journey. It was once in the shadow of the WTC but somehow managed to survive the 911 attack. For 7th and 8th grades I was at Greer School in Hope Farm (Dutchess Co), NY and was home to JC only for holidays and summer vacation. I remember expecially Cherlyn G, Betty Bramer, the Nettles brothers, Harold Soo Hoo. I remember occasional trips to Baird State Park which was a lot of fun.
