Jim's Story
Life
My brother Tony was killed on July 7,1983 (WHHS class of 1980)and my mother Lorraine died September 17,1987 and my father Leon died October 30,2005. I am still involved in the community in West Haven. I am in the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight form 2000-2002,and am the commander of The Sons of The American Legion. I am a Eucharistic Minister at St Lawrence Church. I married Lynne Simoes on April 28,2001 and as of August 24,2008 she had me served for a divorce. Like the song says "Still I'm glad for what we had and how I once loved you"

he best time of my life, well?? they were right. What seemed so stressful back then is a piece of cake today. Those were the days! I never thought that I would ever see the end of Washington School but on June 24,1977 that day came and now it has been over 30 years since. Palmer Payne,Tom Heaphy,Dave Bouffard,Mike Cascagne & Jimi McDonald were my only friends.
Workplace
Driving a bus was not as easy as it looks. You are behind that wheel for 8 hours a day for 40 hours a week for years in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions. It was better than alot of jobs out there and worse than some. Driving in the Greater New Haven area is not safe.
