Jim's Story
Life
I attended UC Santa Barbara after high school, and joined ROTC before my Junior year. I graduated from UCSB in 88, and entered the army as a second lieutenant. I went to Ft. Rucker, Alabama and went through flight school for Huey helicopters. After flight school, I was stationed for two years in Frankfurt, Germany and one year in Giebelstadt, Germany. five month course in Alabama, I was stationed in Washington state in Ft. Lewis. I finished my army obligation there, and got out of the army. I then moved back to the Bay Area and went to work for a company selling rare earth magnets. I got my MBA while working there, and then moved to a company where I am currently a Program Manager for spindle motors (for the disc drive industry). We moved to Colorado in 2001, and currently have a boy (born in 2000) and a girl (born in 2003).
