Jim's Story

Life After graduation, joined the army reserves to pay for school. Everybody should have to go through basic training no matter whether you had Doug Paradis' GPA or struggled through pre-algebra 2/ woodworking/ or health classes... Went to Bowling Green, where i partied 6 nights a week (observing that holy day thing to watch football games) got my bachelors and masters degrees. Was on the Cross Country and Track/Field teams- would have been pretty good- had built my self up to where could hang with some of the big boys then the summer before junior year broke my tailbone and had a major concussion. Broke my arm twice that winter. Wasted my knee during military duty the next summer (playing softball)...ended my competitive running caree...Expand for more
r. Became a Recruiter immediately out of school and have worked way up the food chain to where i currently Work for a Fortune 500 company recruiting exempt level candidates in Engineering and Operations. Married in 1996 and first child 11/28/00- named him after Rudy Rutteger from the movie "Rudy" even though i hate Notre Dame. He loves Dinosaurs, "Africa" animals, way advanced for his age problem solving and oh well artistically....can draw ya any animal lickity split and heck if it aint darn near life like School Biggest Crush? changed year to year but she went to medical school...Teacher that inspired me? Coach Shafer....If i could do it all over again? well punch Mr. Shaner in the mouth and actually talk to the female species!
