Jimmy's Story
Life
USAF 1965-69...Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Bachelor of Aeronautical Science 1971.
Commercial pilot..multiengine airplane & helicopter. I still fly JetRangers.
I Worked in New York and Hollywood as a feature film property master and aeronautical coordinator.
I actually had scenes with Bob Dinero,
Jamie Lee Curtis, Dustin Hoffman and others....but being a property master paid the rent.
Married 30 wonderful years to Joan who had retired in 2001 she taught French & Spanish for 37 years. Joan still looks great..knock out figure. Joan is taking piano lessons now that she has free time..I love to listen to her play :-)
Daughter Michelle is at Santa Barbara City College.....wants to be an executive chef.
We have two scotty dogs..Penny and Beacon..they are such characters. Sleep on the couch..like me.
We travel to Europe as often as possible, perhaps Michelle will get a position at a restaurant in Paris, so mom and dad can visit.
Any success I have I thank my mom and dad.
I think of them every day...I miss them.
We live in Westlake Village CA.
I am a member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG ). Directors Guild of America ...Expand for more

Present Project:
I am in the slow process of writing a screen play " Blood Chit " it's about a pilot shot down behind enemy lines and having to get back....it takes place in Europe during WWll.
The " Blood Chit " is what the United States paid to the underground person or group that returned the pilot alive.
I never knew how hard it was writing a story.
Wish me luck and patience.
Any pilots out there ?
Military
The USAF was a positive influence for me. It gave me direction and goals.
My career field was flight operations....I worked with the flight crews....started to learn about aeronautics, weather, flight planning, navigation....flew in jets and helicopters.I eventually went to flight school and received my fixed wing, multi-engine and rotary wing ratings.
The military can make you...or break you.
Having wonderful parents and good teachers gave me a good start in life.
I was asked to re-up as pilot....but I thought 4 years was eoungh. I was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1969.
