Jo Ann's Story
Life
I married in 1964 and had 2 boys now 38 and 35. My oldest son has my only wonderful grandchild, Stephen, 4 mos. old. I have lived in Knoxville, Tenn. Austin, Texas and now live in Florida. My current husband and I retired in 1997 and we are living the good life in a wonderful Country Club here in Florida. It feels like a vacation all year long. I hope the class of Jan. 1962 has a reunion soon. I would like to see all of you.
Workplace
I had a great job as a Purchaser for the Texa...Expand for more
s Dept. of Transportation in the License Plate Division. It was always interesting and different from day to day. I would to talk to many people all over the state of Texas and also several workers in Huntsville Prison. I also got to tour the prison's License Plate Division where the prisoners would make the license plates. I purchased all the supplies for the Motor Vehicle Divison. But we moved and I decided to retire. I love retirement and all the traveling we have been able to do since.
