JoAnne's Story
Life
I left Fresno the day I graduated from Fresno. Had not been in contact with any school mates until recently.
I remarried in 1997, moved to Oregon in 1999. Before moving to Oregon I was a Domestic Violence Counselor in Nevada for almost five years. Prior to that I held management positions in Purchasing, Inventory Control, Shipping & Receiving and Accounting.
We just bought a home in Winston, OR. No more moving for us.
Now have another grandson, a year old. My daughter moved to Oregon from California. So now all but two of my grandchildren live in Oregon.
We have one dog and one cat. I love the outdoors and wildlife. (ani...Expand for more

I guess I am retired, but plan to go to work part time. It gets boring just remodeling our home.
I moved to Oakland, CA, when I graduated and went to work for Bank of America. I was only 17 yrs old, so no overtime for me. Everyone else was over 21 and we had to fake an ID for me in order for me to get on the base at Alameda.
I was living with my Aunt Mary and Uncle Richard. They felt that I was too young to get my own apartment.
My family had moved to Lompoc, CA, so I decided to move back home.
I did get bored and took a part time job as bookkeeper and checker. Working in a grocery is something I had never done. It is fun.
