Jo-anne's Story
Life
I actually left St.Laurent High in 1969-a few more courses to finish.I used to work in accounting at Cadbury, Ayerst and Holt Renfrew.
My husband,John Hobbs, retired from Bombardier in 2007.He went to Sir Winston.We have been married for 28 years.We still live in St.Laurent.
Our daughter, Nancy,went to Gardenview, Laurenhill,Dawson and Concordia.She works at Banque Laurentienne now.
From 1990 to 2005, I volunteered at Gardenview bookstore, and also, at Laurenhill library from 1994 to 2000.
I have recently worked part-time at McGill Bookstore,...Expand for more
and cashier at a coffe shop in Laval.
I have taken classes in computers and accounting at Vanier Cont-Ed.(It's never too late to learn.)
It was wonderful to see old friends at the Ville St.Laurent Reunion on March 1-2003(Please keep in touch).
I'm looking forward to the Jazz Festival(Blues stage) and the Ahuntsic Park Blues Festival.
I take Golf lessons and go to Power Flex Gym (turn flab into muscle).
We like clubs that have live music and dancing, and we go to Winnies.
