Jo's Story
Well Since May 1981 I got married to a wonderful man. In 1983 I had our first of three children Nickolas, then in 1986 Brandon and 1987 our girl Jenifer. We moved to Latexo, Texas November 1993. I spent the next 17 years raising and homeschooling them. In August 2001 my oldest son entered the army and Brandon and Jenifer opted to go to public school for high school. I enrolled in college and in the spring of 2002 I started the LVN program at Trinity Valley Community College in Palestine, Texas. I graduated and went on the work in the necessary classes for my transition to RN/BSN at UT Tyler. I graduated May 2007 with my bachelors in nursing and passed the RN/NCLEX. irculator in the surgical department. I am also a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter named Brianna. She is two years old. My current activities are working, building our home from the ground up, and shedding some unhealthy pounds and gaining better health through Advocare and lifestyle changes. I am completely famly oriented and a conservative fundamental christian. I fully support our troops of whom I have two veteran sons who have fought in the Afghanistan/Iraq war. My children call me oldfashioned and narrow minded. In my humble opinion right is right and wrong will always be wrong. God is first, family is second, and others follow! I try to keep it simple, sweet and too the point. Life is way to short to waste time saying nothing. I have caught you up to the present. Take care! God Bless Our Troops!
