Jo's Story
My family moved to Wooster from Blachleyville in 1950. I went to Walnut Street School 2nd grade thru 6th. Graduated from Wooster High in 1961.
Worked at Newberry's during high school, then worked short time at Value Center and couple of years at Sparkle Market. Then in 1964, I went to work for Wooster Brush Company. il 1983 when I started working for Wooster City Schools in the Food Service department. I retired in 2007.
Ed passed away in August 2006.
I have 3 step-daughters,who presented Ed & I with 5 grandchildren and we now have 4 great-grandchildren.
I still live in Wooster as do my mother,my 3 sisters, my son and all three step daughters. Three of four of the grandkids live here. Grandson, Bryan, wife Amber and son Aaron live in Yuma, AZ. He is a US Marine.
