I worked in a hospital cafeteria and in a movie theatre part-time during college. After I graduated St. Joseph College, I taught 8th grade Language Arts for a half year before my first son was born. I stayed at home with my three children until my daughte...Expand for more
r was five. Then we moved to Florida in 1980. I have been teaching in Collier County Public Schools since then. In 1996, I took a sabbatical leave to work on a Ph.D., which I finished in Dec. 2003. I have taught pre-K to College Level and have had a rewarding career.
