Joan's Story

Life My husband Ray and I have resided in London On ,the forest city, since 1966. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, 4 step granchildren none live in London. We are both retired for some time now, myself from real estate and retail, Ray from the general insurance business Our latest venture is moving from our home of many years to a highrise condo. We anticipate a new lifestyle being free of lawns and snow. I try not judge people until I have walked a mile in their shoes I hope that I will be remembered as a good person who really tried to help and be there for my family and friends I always wanted to be a social worker when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a ok idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.I get too empathetic for that career go on the computer, skipped school on opening ball game my hero was Trudeau because he dared to be himself I have lived in Toronto, Los Angelos and London On The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Dr Wm Johnstone, because a genuinely nice guy. my biggest surpise is that old age is not...Expand for more
as bad as I expected My kids taught me patience Mr Empey was a favourite teacher in public school. Miss McGonicle in high school to be truly happy, I would have all my family live nearby My current age is 82. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely surprised. It is not as bad as I had thought it would be my first crush is happily married My best friend would tell you I'm shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as outgoing. Making pillows for caskets at a florists on Annette St Toronto web surfing on my computer or looking up old friends If I won $100 million, I'd give 75% of it to CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN, then spend the rest on TRIP, SAVINGS, and UPDATE CAR AND FURNITURE. NO. I have changed with the times I share my home with husband Ray, which I find loving. In 10 years, I hope to be still here. I'm going to get there by staying healthy. first day of high school, she was just plain nice my dog being run over in front of my eyes I hope that I am rmembered as kind , loving lots of fun
