Joan's Story
Life
I went to Bible school after graduation, married, and had 3 wonderful children. I eventually went back to college & graduated (from MSU-B)in 1991. I taught Special Education in Billings & Hardin,MT for 10 years. I also taught in Duluth for 1 year; then in Oregon.
In 2003 I remarried (happily!) *19 years after my 1st marriage ended.* Together we have 11 fabulous grandchildren! My 3 kids have all graduated from college, married, & live in Oregon, which is a huge blessing! My husband's 2 children out of state.

I have been a Christian since I was 16 yrs old, and through all the ups & downs of life, Jesus has proven Himself faithful. His love endures forever.
"Teen Action" & the "Jesus People" movement were very much a part of my high school memories. God changed my life & it lasted. Lynn Kern, my brother Thor, and my sister Paula were all influential in my becoming a Christian.
My husband & I live near Portland. My husband is a physical therapist for Providence Hospital Home Health and is the director of clinical education at George Fox University.
