Joan's Story
I guess I should update my profile oftener than every 6 years or so.
A lot has happened since I wrote that last profile, the biggest I suppose would be my husbands passing in May of 2015. Its been a difficult 18 months, learning how to be single after 50 years of marriage is no easy feat. I'm still living in Indio, CA, I love living here in the desert, my wonky ole knees love the heat. I love my neighbors, I don't know what I would have done without them, they have helped me through this awful time.

ing in the bay area, my son Pete has remarried and produced another grandson, Falcon is 2 years old and joins his older siblings, Geddy who is now 16 and Lila who is now 13. They are the loves of my life.
I plan to continue enjoying my retirement from Chabot Colledge by traveling a much as I can. I took my older grandchildren on a 12 day bus trip through 5 western national parks, and we had a blast. I'm plotting to do another trip with them soon. I have some cruising planed as well.
