Joan's Story

Life Hi everyone! I have been happily remarried since 1991 to my wonderful husband, Bill, and have 2 great kids, Alex who is a WMHS Grad too (see photo) and Alicia who is just graduated the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is now a graphic designer in DC. We moved to beautiful Charlotte, NC in 1998, where I am a full-time law student at the Charlotte School of Law and expect to graduate in 2009. I would love to hear from y'all! WMHS, I use today either on the job or in school. I never really appreciated what a great high school it was at the time, but certainly do now, when I see how others are struggling with basics like reading, math, spelling and language. I only wish I took better advantage of the resources when I was a kid. I love going to school still--and fully expect to continue, even when I get my J.D.! College I finally got my Bachelors Degree in English. NOW ON TO LAW SCHOOL!!! YAY!!! I can't wait...
