Joan's Story
My maiden name is McClure.
I did not graduate from Bates 8th grade. I attended from Kinder through 5th grade. We moved to Salinas Valley in Monterey County starting 6th grade, school year 64-65. I had a sister 2 years older, Linda and a brother, 3 years older, Larry.
I still live in the Salinas Valley. I am married and raised three sons. I am a freelance Landscape Designer.

n many years. I had relatives, Sullivans, in Ryde that we returned to visit all the time. So for several years following the move I would still see some of them. One in particular friend was Amy Wheeler. She lived on the river with a lot of pear orchards and her grandmother's huge victorian house around. I have lost touch with her. My remaining family in Sacramento says she is still in the area. Her mom was Kay and her dad was Bert.
Getting back to the picture, Amy is there.
