Life
I'm the red-head who moved away in the middle of the 9th grade! Since I went to school in Tarboro longer than any other place, I think of that as "where I went to school", although I graduated elsewhere.
I have Mrs. Latham's first grade classroom picture in my office! It generates considerable conversation, especially when I can recall most of the people in the picture. I know the names of everyone - just have to look at the list ...Expand for more

I take great joy in my family. My Dad - NC State Highway Patrol - died a few years ago. Mom still lives on the family farm. I go back to NC as much as I can.
I live in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I can see the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east and the Allegheny Mountains to the west. It's a long way from home ... which is what North Carolina will always be.
