Joan's Story
Life
Well, I live in Sacramento, my kids are mostly all grown up. I have a tattoo, and I did have my nose pierced but I had to let it close, because it wasn't healing well. My oldest daughter is married and lives in Austin, TX. She is the Director of Education for a company that manages clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies. My middle daughter is a teacher for kids with autism, and my son is a high school senior. We have a dog named Boobar, and 2 cats, Baby and Maybelline. egal. Now I work as an advocate for senior citizens, particularly assisting with Medicare issues. I will never stop missing the Atlantic Ocean, and the gentle, easygoing life style of the middle Atlantic States. California has great weather, and I have great friends, but I will also live in Norfolk in my heart.
My goals for 2008 are that I am starting Violin lessons next week, and I plan to work on my physical health, and climb the rock wall at the gym sometime this week. I hope some of my old "homeys" write to me. It is always great to hear how people are doing.
