Joan's Story

I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where I am retired from teaching for 30 years. Presently I am the business director for a counseling agency that I helped found. I teach parenting and anger management classes as well. Being a wife(married to Calvin Brown, former teacher at Goliad Middle School), mother and grandmother keeps me busy. ch, school, community and many civic organizations. I would love to hear from "old" classmates. If you remember me, you will know I loved singing. The teacher who influenced me the most in high school was Mr. Wilcher...He instilled in me the love of reading and literature. I visit Goliad maybe once or twice a year but have fond memories of so many things.
