Joan's Story
Married 42 years, we have a grown son and 17 year old grandson.
Never strayed far from Milwaukee's South Side. After living in Cudahy for a few years, we bought a house near the Domes.
I've held a variety of clerical jobs over the years. Retired in 2021 after 17 years as an Administrative Assistant at MATC. My oddest job was selling pantyhose over the phone; my most boring - proofreading legal case journals. Ugh!

e Channel 10 yearly auction. My hubby and I were neighborhood block watch captains, and I held a position for several years with the Clarke Square Community Association. I'm also a 5 time Cancer survivor.
Becoming a homeowner sparked an interest in gardening for me. Our house has always been a zoo of sorts, with various cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, and lizards - the most exotic being a tankful of piranhas. Besides our pets and flowers, we enjoy fishing, camping, "Freecycling", and playing cards/board games.
I am amazed at how many names I've never heard of from the Class of '73 here! If you remember *me*, please take a minute to say hi!
