Joan's Story
Life
After graduating from WHS, I entered the Amityville Dominican Sisters for 4 years. I went to school and taught for 2 years in RVC. I left in 1963 taught in Westbury for 2 years and married in 1964. I have 3 children 38,30,28. I returned to college in 1984 and received an AAS from Suffolk CC, a BA from St. Joseph's College...Expand for more
, and an MA from SUNY at Stony Brook. I have lived in Centereach, LI, for 38 years and have been married 40 years. I have taught for 15 years in St. James, LI. I now have 4 grandchildren. I am retired now and live in Hudson, NY. It is a beautiful part of NY, with a drop dead view of the Hudson River and Valley.
