in the Emergency Department at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn from the early part of 1972 to June of 1979 when I moved back to CA. with my Mom+, brother and Aunt+. The E.R. was my area of clinical expertise and my love! Working at Maimonides was truly a great experience and a privilege!
I pursued my love of teaching in CA and worked as a critical care and inservice instructor. I went on to get my Master of Science degree.
I taught Pre-Natal Nutrition at a local pregnancy help center for 10 years and also worked for a pro-life organization. I am deeply committed to the Sanctity of All Human Life from the moment of conception until when God, Alone , the Author of Life, calls that person Home and to the Innate Dignity of the Human Person made in the Imago Dei, the Image and Likeness of God!
I am active in my nursing profession and strive to promote ethical standards in nursing.
I serve on the Board of California Nurses for Ethical Standards.
I sing in a choir at a local Catholic Church and love being a member of the choir. I consider it a privilege and a blessing!
I also love reading good books, especially, Mary Higgins Clark mysteries as they often take place in NYC and I love a good mystery!
I like going to the movies and seeing good family type movies and am an old movie buff! One of my favorite pictures is The Robe, a beautiful biblical story from the 1950's.
I love being together with family, friends and co-workers!
