Joanne's Story
I left Peru High School and went to Wichita Falls, TX. I actually finished school there but got my diploma from Peru. I met my husband while attending college. We moved to California then Texas. We have two children (adults now with their own children). I worked for his construction business for years. He passed away and I remarried. My husband's name is Bruce and we married in 1995. We live in Tupper Lake and both work for the State of New York but in two different agencies. I am a Real Property Analyst. He works for Sunmount DDSO. We have a brand new home completed in 2007. My daughter, Kristy and son, Shane live in Tupper Lake with their spouses and children. They love the Adirondacks and are avid outdoorsmen. They hike, canoe, kayak, ski, swim, go boating and four wheeling.
