Joanne's Story
I am a high school dropout from the tenth grade. A cooking teacher scared the pizzaz out of me and I simply wanted out.Often I think of a young man Named Jan Malouwin and wonder what happened to him.He was like a real braincell.Nashua Junior High was located on Spring street across was a huge church. I think St.Patrick's?I remember the names of Joyce Bergereon and Dick Joyce? They were as I recall, the prettiest and handsome two of the school.I also recall a fellow by the name of Robert McLaughlin (movers) . I was never a brainiac, nor a popular girl , and lived my school years in mortal fear. Mostly of teachers. I hung out with Pauline Plourde (now deceased) and we both quit school. Does that ring any bells ...Expand for more
for anyone? I am now approaching birthday 74. Such and old broad am I.
High School in those days was located off of Lake Street (beginning)from Main. I recall a corner store across the street. School has been relocated. When I quit I went to work at the shoe shop on Lake Street. In my family I have lost three sisters and of course my parents.I did well in the world and made it to the top in many positions. Now I exists in a lovely senior complex and aside from my poor health I remain loving life. If I could do it one more time, I would, emphatically would. People are the greatest treasures in life. I hope to hear from someone in the world of the past so that I can have ever more treasures in the here and now.
