Joanne's Story
I grew up in Mpls, MN. Graduated from Edison High School. I married in 1970 and lived in Texas, MN, Troy, MI, Coral Springs, FL and Centerville, OH before landing in Naperville, IL in 1987. I went back to school, graduated with a BS in Accounting from Northern IL University and became a CPA in 1994.
In December 2006 we moved to AZ to be near the grandkids. My 2 daughters each have 2 girls and my son has moved here with his wife and as of 2019 have a 3 yr ol...Expand for more
d son and 17 month old daughter. After 40 years of marriage, I divorced in 2010.
I am still working as a CPA in my own firm and am active in the National Society of Accountants (NSA) and AZ Association of Accountants & Tax Professionals (AAATP). I am also a "granny nanny" for 2 of my granddaughters Mon-Fri after school. It keeps me young!
I don't get to this site often because I have enough trouble keeping up with FaceBook & LinkedIn and my tax list serves.
