Joanne's Story
Life
I graduated from Illinois State University in 1985 with a teaching degree (and minor in Library Science). I was an elementary librarian for 2 years in Springfield,IL. I got married for the first time in 1991, had one daughter in 1994, and was divorced in 1997. I re-married in December of 1999 and now have 2 teenage stepsons. a librarian at Governors State University since 1990. As of July 2004, I left my job at Governors State to follow my dream of living in Colorado. I am currently living in Castle Rock, Colorado with my husband, daughter, one dog and two cats. I drive the bookmobile for the Douglas County Public Library District and also work in their brand new Library branch at Roxborough.
