Life
I am still living in Bakersfield, CA which is really not like any other part of California at all. It seems very small town, which is fine with me. Good place to raise my kids. Life has been very good to me in every way. There have been some bumps along the way but, my kids are happy and healthy and are doing well. I couldn't ask for anything more. I do miss living in the Pacific Northwest, but there are always trade offs in life. Who knows? Some day we may return to where it is so beautiful everyday it can be easily be overlooked.

ber optic business while living in Leavenworth Wa and ended up in Bakersfield, California developing fiber optic routes in LA, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, etc. Then the bottom fell out of that market and had to find something else to do. Took a while to find the right job, but I believe I have done so with Starbucks. I have been with Starbucks for over a year and I still love it. Although, some days are better than others! I am opening a new store for them in February---that is very exciting for me to take it from new construction to building the business for them. I think I have found my calling! My kids are all growing so fast....colleges are recruiting them, they are driving, and I am very excited for them. I am thankful they have become such great people. I really like my kids, besides loving them.
