Jody McCormack - Dunning:  

Since high school, I have lived in 6 states. I spent short times in Reno, Nevada, Salt Lake City, Utah & Bradenton, FL. I lived in various parts of both southern & northern CA, then in 1991 I moved to Lincoln City, OR on the Oregon Coast. I currently live in Deep Run, NC. I am retired from teaching 4 year-olds in the public schools state program in North Carolina. Over the years I have taught children as young as 3 & have taught several college courses for adults & most ages in between. In 2003, I was named one of the top 30 child development educators in CA by the CAEYC. Not a really big deal but I was pleased to be nominated & selected. My political views are to the right, which is not the views of most teachers in this country. I believe in the Constitution, the importance of family and the defense of the United States. My oldest grandson is a Specialist in the US Army now, stationed at the Monterey Presidio, learning a foreign language and his next younger sister is teaching in an International School in Southeast Asia.
