Joe's Story
Am I the only guy that remembers Sister Charles Veronica, Sister Carmen Regina, Mrs. Gilroy, Sister Gracia Maria, Sister Auxilia, Sister Anne Michelle, Sister Frances Winifred, and Sister Joseph Anthony? My Kids can't believe that I remember these people!
After 8 years in St. Augustine elementary, I went around the corner to St Augustine High School. Anybody remember the brothers there? Remember Brother Dennis??
Went to Bronx Community College for 2 years (pre-engineering) then went to Brooklyn College of Pharmacy.
Worked in Bay Ridge for a while...moved to Long Island....worked for Con Edison in the medical department on Flatbush Ave...then moved to Orlando in 1988.
Worked for Walgreens in California for a few years (lived in "SoCal" in Rancho Cucamonga) and I've been back in Orlando since December of 2003.
Cigars, Harleys, and lots of trips to Vegas fill up my time when not working. Was just at Shea Stadium in early May, 2006. Still a HUGE Mets fan! Hope I hear from some of the elementary school graduating class of 1964 or the high school graduating class of 1968!
May, 2016....just returned from a motorcycle trip with 22 other bikes. Went to Vegas then over to Williams and Page, Arizona....Then up to Bluff and Bullfrog in Utah....up to Moab and over through Zion then back to Vegas. ven was in Oatman ( I think that was in Arizona ) where there are lots of donkeys roaming the streets of old Route 66. What a trip. Glad to be home though!
Also just took a Disney Cruise from Port Canaveral with my granddaughter, daughter, and wife. Absolutely amazing! Even went parasailing!
Still watching ( and dying with) my Mets and Jets. ( Can't seem to figure out the QB situation)
Leading a ride to St. Augustine this weekend...more partying....hey, just 'cause we're older doesn't mean we slow down, right?

Nowadays (2014) I'm a pharmacy manager at Publix in Orange City, Florida. Still a big Mets and Jets (ugh! it's hard to be a Mets and Jets fan!!) ....still going to Vegas when I can and riding with my buds as much as I can.
Just came back from a motorcycle trip in the Blue Ridge mountains. We live in a beautiful country.

Was in N.Y. two years ago with friends. Took some of them to see our beautiful church (St. Augustine),,,and we weren't allowed in....even after I explained that I had gone to grammar school and high school there. Guess that's a comment on our society.
