Workplace
While at Clemson, I worked 2 summers at RR Donnelley in Spartanburg, SC. When I decided that college wasn't for me, I went to work for Donnelley full time. 22 years later, I am still there. We print catalogs such as JCPenney, LLBean, and JCrew. We also do newspaper inserts such as Target, Walgreens, and Kohl's. We also printed the National Enquirer for a while. on in the company. (Electronic Technician is the highest) I am a pressman. I run a gravure printing press and am in charge of a crew of 7 people.
I have been there for so long now that I cannot imagine doing anything else. When I graduated from Carolina High School in Greenville, SC in 1980, I did not imagine that I would be doing what I am doing now. However, I consider myself lucky...I have a good job, job security, and the pay is not too bad either.
