Joe's Story
Life
Through the years of trial and error, I ended up in Prescott Valley, Arizona.. Feels like home here. I've got a t.v. repair business and things are going well.
I am widowed and have a 18 and 20 year old. It's been quite an experience raising to kids as a single Dad. I lost my wife to cancer in 1991.
Kids are both gone now and on their own..
Now it's my turn for some fun and raise alittle hell.
Workplace
After three years in the Army, I went to REI institute and studied electronics for two years. Then went to work for Professional Electronics in Omaha Ne. Three years of on the job training.. Since then I have worked a few t.v. shops in the Omaha area. I decided to head for colorado where I started a business. Macks t.v. and appliance. The t.v. work was not keeping me busy enough, so I started doing major appliance work. I hired two Appliance ...Expand for more
Men to take care of washers, dryers, an refrigerators..
Things went well for 6 years. Then my employee's started passing out their own personal business cards and were taking customers away from me.. That ended that, I fired both of them and decided to just focus on t.v.'s.
The econemy in Colorado Springs was in a downward spin. Business went sour and many stores were closing. Mine as well.
Now I'm in Prescott Valley Arizona, Love it here. I own a t.v. shop repair and things are lookin good..
I see Tim Kober and Joe Marmo once and a while, Tim lives down in Mesa, Arizona. and Joe Marmo lives in Chino Valley, Only about 20 miles from me. We all get together sometimes and have Lunch here in Prescott Valley. We talk about the good old days. sure is fun..
Joe Marmo has now moved back to So. Dakota...
I'm gonna miss our get togethers.. Oh well.
