Joe's Story
Life
1982-1990: After high school, I joined the Navy (CO-026). Joined up with the Wolfpack of Fighter Squadron ONE out of Miramar. In '86, I transferred to NAF Atsugi, Japan for two years. Worked at Air Ops. Got qualified on yellow gear and E-28 aresting gear. What fun! I ran into a few VF-1 pilots in Japan while there. I went to COMPHIBRON-7 after that for two year then exited the Navy in San Diego.
1990-1997: Work for ARCO for seven years I left and started my o...Expand for more
wn company. Paradise Transportation in San Diego providing Airport and Charter Service in San Diego. That worked out all good until the 9/11 incident. When all travel was halted for nearly a month, it was too big of a burden to recover.
2002-2007: I owned/operated an online poker room for a bit. And have pretty much been involved with poker in some form since '02. Moved to Las Vegas in June '06. Kinda hot here but I enjoy it. New email is: joe at wjstarkey dot com
