Joel's Story
Life
I've been in the telecommunications industry since graduating from Ohio U in 1986. Been living in the DC suburbs since 1987. I've been married since 1998 to a wonderful woman who puts up with me. We have 2 beautiful daughters (Eileen 7 1/2, Rachel 5). Besides hanging out with my family, I try to spend as much time as possible on the golf course (eventhough my game still sucks). nal in September 2007 (190 miles - Cumberland, MD to Georgetown). This summer I'm planning on a 350 mile tour from Pittsburgh (Allegheny Trail - C&O canal) to DC. When the weather cooperates, I try to commute via bicycle to work a couple of times a week (early spring to mid fall - 13 miles each way) which I hope will help me lose the spare tire (never ending battle).
