Joel's Story

Joel was born in the Bronx, New York in Parkchester Hospital. He lived on Boynton Avenue across from the Monroe hand ball courts until he was 20 years old. He is married to Sheryl Sankel also a James Monroe and JHS 123 graduate. His schools include Monroe High School, James M Kieran Junior High School. He later attended CCNY School Of Architecture. o and has designed buildings around the country. He intends to keep practicing architecture as long as he can. Sheryl and Joel have travelled extensively. Joel's interests include Biking, Softball, Photography, Woodworking, Synagogue Architecture, and the New York Yankees. He has been researching his family genealogy for 40 years and has tracked down thousands of relatives from around the world.
