Joel's Story
Life
Graduated from Clemson w/degree in Engineering. Worked for American Enka for 13 years. Joined J&J Industries in 1972 and worked there 31 years, 4 months and 8 days. Retired Oct 31, 2003. Had a lot fun working.
Married Norma Jeanne Payne in 1961. We have a son, Joel III, who is a Plastic Surgeon and a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Williams Bryan who is an RN. She also owns Freedom Tree Farms in Pelham, TN.

Enjoy Amateur Radio. My station call is W4TN. I have been a HAM since 1955. I have a pilots license but no longer fly.
My precious wife of 53 years died June 22, 2014. She had battled Alzheimers and Parkinsons for more than 10 years. Jeanne was a wonderful wife and a fantastic mom for our two children. I am so thankful she agreed to marry me and now I'm having a very hard time trying to learn how to live without her.
