In BVHS I was the track manager and the wrestling manager, along with my friend Leonard Cox. Len and I both also were members of the Lettermen's Club and the Chess Club. Mike Husk and I were known for ditching school in our cars during lunchtime, but Mr. Noe, the vice-principal, was cool about it and never got us in trouble, lol. He also commented how we would "come on the parking lot on two wheels" in our cars, lol. Although I never smoked, I really got a kick out of Mr. Noe's "raids" of the boys' bathroom during break time. He'd bust in the bathroom, the bathroom would be full of smoke, but nobody would be smoking! He was really good natured about it, feigning disappointment and snapping his fingers.
