John's Story
Life
Graduated high school, University of Southern Maine with degree in accounting. Worked for Lepage Bakeries for a couple of summers, UPS for a few years and put myself through college. Spent college playtime on the slopes and in the clubs with friends. Went to work in the family business, started my own business, met my wife and daughter married in 1991, sold the business, moved to Florida. Received Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of Central Florida while finding time to travel around the state in the free time. Moved to Ocala, Florida in 1994 and worked for a large local public accounting firm before moving out with my partner and started our own practice in 2002. 2006 that is doing well. Spend our fun time with friends boating around the state, the keys and the Bahamas aboard our 30 footer. Some of our best times have been with the friends we have met on the boat. We usually just anchor out or up to a beach and play volleyball, boil seafood, scuba, and fish. Vacations to Italy, Maine, Colorado, North Carolina, Nevada and California mark a few of the non-boating trips we have done. Upcoming trip to Octoberfest in Munich. The high lights of my life are my wife and step daughter, the great friends we have met, the people I work with, my clients who provide for me and my involvement in our community. Both my wife Paula and I find time with our community with the numerous organizations we help by serving on their Boards. It's a great community and a great life! Take care all.
