John's Story
If anyone can believe it, I became an accountant after college. Everyone that I meet cannot believe that's what I did for a living.
I hated it so much I asked my wife to put a bullet in my head if I was still an accountant by the time I hit 40 ... I even wrote my name on it. Fortunately, I moved on & became a property manager ... it is definitely more me.
I settled for a working retirement & moved to Florida. I figured ...Expand for more
why work hard all my life & retire to Florida when I was too old to enjoy it.
I work up a sweat to blow off steam .. run, ride bike, swim, play raquetball, whatever. to relax I like to hang out by the water OR drink with friends.
No heroes or mentors ... I always had to figure things out on my own.
Diehard Yankee fan.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to mom, then spend the rest on travel, real estate and man toys.
