Life has been good to me, and I really feel blessed to have met so many terrific people over the years. I'm currently back in Stafford, VA following brief time in Jacksonville, NC, and a year in sunny southern California. We have five wonderful adult children, thirteen terrific grandchildren, and three great grandchildren as of 2022. Married Cynthia Barker of Akron, OH while living in Spartanburg, SC in 1979. Served three great years in Germany with the U.S. Army, achieving rank of Specialist E5, I returned to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1969, then attended Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, SC. i worked five years as Driver Supervisor with McLean Trucking. another five years as Dispatcher with Spector Freight, and retired with 25 years service from U.S. Postal Service Headquarters, Washington, DC, as Transportation Specialist. Was raised by a career Air Force family with 19 permanent residences by the time I graduated from Myrtle Beach High. Following High School I've lived in SC, CA, GA, VA, NC, and spent two years in Germany from 1967-1969. Settled in Stafford, Virginia in 1983, following short time as Postal Clerk in Spartanburg, SC. My biggest regret is that I've left so many good friends behind every time I moved or changed addresses. Recently owned and operated a Radio Shack Franchise and also, started my own retail store - Gadgets & Gifts, where we sold electronics, toys, trains, cell phones, and had a contract for a Post Office inside our facilit...Expand for more
