John's Story
I left Hughes AR, in 1991 and moved to Orlando FL. There i got a job working for Walt Disney World , building furniture, cabinets, and props for rides and a few movies. I worked there for three years. I then moved to Virginia, with my new fiance at the time. We had a son but never got married. My son Nicholas is now 15 yrs old. I continued to build cabinets and furniture for a company here in va for about 4 yrs, and during that time met my current wife , who was my bosses sister, Susan. Her and I have been married for 12yrs and we have a son Zachary, who is now 12 yrs old, and a daughter, Courtney who is now 9 yrs old. I star...Expand for more
ted my own woodworking company that we had in business for 6 yrs. We closed in 2003. Since then ive Managed another woodworking business for a few years, and the last 4 yrs ive been building new homes. Mostly finish carpentry. Starting in March of this year 2009 ive started a business of my own. Altman Construction Services. We do all kinds of construction needs. Framing, siding, decks, finish carpentry, flooring, tile, fireplaces, stairways, you name it, we do it. Any way it hasnt been the most exciting life , but now im 42 yrs old and im satisfied with things. And im just trying to be a good father for my three childred.
