le just starting out to become EMTs and pursue a career in medicine. Since I began training in 1994, many of them have gone on to become Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants, doctors and pharmacists.
Workplace
I began working for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1965 and retired from there in 2000. I started at Newark Airport as an electrician and ended my career at the World Trade Center as an Editor of Communications for the Aviation department. I enjoyed working for the Port Authority in so many different capacities and now enjoy not having to work another day if I don't want to. I stay in touch with many of the people I worked with in the past. We have retirement luncheon reunions approximately every 3 months and I enjoy seeing all my old friends and colleagues and hearing about what they are doing.
