I currently live in Lambertville, MI and have lived in Colorado, Georgia, Texas and Tennessee. I have been married for 14 years to my wife Helen. I have two children from my first marriage and had the experience of being a single parent for 8 years. My eldest son, John is married with two boys, John Paul and Jacob and lives in Erie, Mich. He is a retired computer systems engineer. Eric is a systems analyst for IBM and works on the Watson Project . He lives in Mechanicsburg, PA. with his Wife Natasha and sons Aiden and Noah. I am a 26 year veteran of the Army and my service was bracketed by Vietnam and the First Gulf War. Most of my service was undramatic. Because with the exception of 13 months in Vietnam, most of my assignments were as full time support staff for Army Reserve units. This type of work is really outside the main stream of the Army.
