John's Story
Got married before my senior year at U of Ill. After graduation in 1969 we moved to Nashville, TN for grad school at Vanderbilt. Loved the classes, loved teaching, absolutly despised departmental politics. Dropped out after 3 years. w a media specialist since everything is now digital. Working with pixels and vectors is much better than working with chemicals.
We have 2 kids and one kid-in-law. All 3 are special ed teachers, my son and his wife in the Houston, TX area and my daughter here in Nashville.
Grew a beard in Israel in 1969. Still have it but lost the hair on top of my head. Must be a gravity thing.
