Graduated Syracuse Univ w/BA in Social Work/Psych in 1973; earned MSW from Va Commonwealth Univ 1977. Currently Director, Continuing Medical Education, School of Medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University (since 1983)

Richmond, VA for 32 years (love it), partnered with Bill Crowder for 26 years, married Oct 23, 2008. MARRIAGE EQUALITY NOW! No children: 2 godchildren whom we adore. Passions include: skiing, mountains, Caribbean beaches, politics, lifelong friends, social activism, long distance cycling, snowmobiling, mojitos and good cabernet sauvignon.
