John's Story
Life
Hello to everyone.
It's been fun reacquainting myself with old friends through the classmates site.
Here is an abridged version of my years since high school...
I went to LSU, graduating in May '85 in Broadcast Journalism. I met my wife Tane while at LSU. After working in New Orleans for a year while she was still in school, we moved back to L.A in the summer of '86.
I worked in TV and radio from '86-'94.
Tane and I were married in March '90.
Our home was destroyed in the Northridge earthquake in January '94.
Deciding that we didn't want to rebuild our home in SoCal (or start a family there), we left L.A.
We traveled the US ...Expand for more
for much of '95, and landed in Alabama, where I got a job doing TV sports. My son Cameron was born there in October '96.
In '97, we moved back to Baton Rouge. My daughter Caitlin was born in August of '98.
In July'99, I moved over to the sales side of TV. I've been selling air ever since!
My wife Tane teaches pre-school and freelance graphic design.
My kids are now 9 and 11.
They are awesome kids.
We enjoy traveling, going to sports events and just hanging out as a family.
My father Dave has also moved to south Louisiana to be closer to his only kid and grandkids.
I look forward to hearing from my old friends and classmates.
