John's Story
Life
I retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2010 after serving since October 1988. During those twenty one and a half years, I have traveled all over the world and visited many unique places. I lived in Germany for six years (Rhein-Main AB, Frankfurt 1989-1995) and traveled all over Europe, including England, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Czechoslovakia and Austria. Sultan Air Base, in 1997 & 2000) and Camp Humphreys Korea 1999-2000. In late Jan 2007 I returned from my third tour of duty in Iraq; (Zakho 1994, LSA Anaconda (Balad AB) 2005 & Ali (Tallil AB) 2006-2007). I am married to a wonderful woman that was a strong supporter of my military career and was a true "Air Force wife".
