John's Story
Life
I'm happy with my life and am making progress toward the goals I've set for myself. Also, my daughter will be turning one on August 22nd. She's a happy and social child - she likes to smile at everyone! Jen and I would like to have more children over time.
The biggest surprise in my life is that I've become interested in more academic activities. IÂve earned my bachelorÂs degree in mathematics, passed a couple of actuarial exams and worked in actuarial sciences. Then, I entered the UConn PhD program for mathematics, but returned to actuarial sciences when my fiancée (now my wife) and I decided we needed more money. ool program at UConn Law School. I'm now in law school full-time and expect to graduate in May of 2006.
My biggest regret from high school is not being more involved with my classmates socially and in school activities. I didnÂt have anything against anybody  I was just shy. Since high school, IÂve become more social, done public speaking, taught math classes at UConn, etc.
Always feel free to e-mail me  just donÂt ask for legal advice until IÂve finished school. Even then, I (and all the rest of the graduates) wonÂt be able to give you too many good answers, but IÂm always interested in touching base or meeting people for the first time!
