John's Story
Update: Still have my home in Springboro. Currently on Sabbatical from my administrative position in Cincinnati. I have put work on the Ph. D. on hold (just a couple classes and a dissertation away). I am staying with my mom on a lake in South Carolina for the winter and spring of 2009, near Clemson. We recently met 3 years ago. During this time I am doing a MBA program online to see how this online education process works. It will be done in August of 2009. I will have completed it at just under a year. Then it is back to finishing the Ph. D. I will then decide whether to return to education or the business world. Of course I am loving life on the lake and am thinking about getting a little house on it and just do my consulting work for a couple years.
Also wantd to mention my big passions. Marshall Football, Cincinnati Reds. I have a big sports memorbilla collection. Also love my home theater that I designed when I built my house. I also enjoy taking care and decorating my home (old world style).

Currently living in Springboro, Ohio. Just built a new home on the same spot I lost my home to a fire.
Workplace
After 13 years as a high school band and choir director in Ohio, now the principal for the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. Was the Greene County Ohio outstanding teacher of the year in 1996. Currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Education Administration.
Active adjudicator internationally with Drum Corp International and Winter Guard International. Along with judging both their championships have judged the Drum Corps Festival in Osaka, Japan and Drum Corp Europe Championships in the Netherlands. Also judge for Bands of America.
I own my own visual performing arts company oing consulting work with over 50 high school music programs in the country.
My judging and clinician work keeps me on the road. I have judged in over 35 states including 8 different state championships and the BOA National Championships (A long way from Cedar Lakes, huh).
