John's Story
Life
Graduated Vincennes University with AS in Laser Technology 1990, Graduated San Jose State 1996 with BS Physics. Just started working on my MS in Physics at Stanford University Probably won't last though because I was married in July 2000, and working on kids, hopefully! I live in wonderful traffic-laden bay area of California. I have worked at Coherent Laser Inc. for the last ten years, currently a development engineer designing lasers and laser systems.
1/05/02 Had one baby boy born November 9th, 2001. John Angus Charles. Dropped out or hopefully just postponed my Masters in Physics at Stanford...as I imagined.

, since I regretfully always made fun of the Special Ed kids. He's doing well, and is mainstreamed in 1st grade, he's got some quirkiness. He is a math wiz though (he's got the genes for that:)) Still at Coherent, now 18 years.

Still at Coherent 22 years now, Still designing lasers, I love my job!!! My son is doing fantastic, mainstreamed in regular classroom, blew away the math portion of the STAR test (standardized test here in Cali). He's got some quirkiness, and I think that came from me :). Still married, 12 years to a wonderful woman. School has fallen by the wayside, but going back to SJSU to take a few classes. Every day is a great new day in the Physics world! Seeya.
