John's Story
life has been good for me,for 10 years after school I work in the night club & music business and traveled quite a lot. I started out at the Ratskeller where some of my friends work then went to work at Channel Night Club where I work for around 7years, fired or quit around 12 times, the record was 19 times. also work for WFNX & WAAF,also work for Aerosmith Security, I got that job and they break up end up working for Joe Perrys new band. During the winter months spent a lot of time in Negril JA before it became famous around 26 days each time after 29 days immigration would come looking for you, stayed across the street from Ricks Cafe. Summer time a bunch of my friends and I would rent a house on the Vineyard for a month, before the Frist Family made it trendy, South Beach was wild place. The fun ended in 1987 went to work for MBTA, got married had a couple of kids, the Frist is on her way to U Maryland Honors school, my son just as smart as his sister, he is 2 years behind h...Expand for more
er, you know they got there smarts from there mother. Its 2009 I can retire in 13 months, let see what the new chapter in my life will be, Life is still good. Next time will tell about my exploits on the island the US invaded in 1983 life is good. After the US Invasion a friend of mine was Hired to dismantle the Communications the Cuban Gov. had set up, when he saw an opportunity and started a Diving & Watersports Co. at all the Hotels which I invested in and started working for as the US Rep, we had 7 shops 12 boats for Diving, Sunset Cruises, Granada is a great island to visit they actually like American people, the beachs are great and also a very good nightlife. The fun ended in 1990 with the recession of the late 80s, my friend sold the Co. and we broke even, we ended being the 5th biggest employer on the island,the good times ended and I went to work at the MBTA my Island hopping was over, had a lot of good times and crazy stories ,would do it again since you only live once.
